I have setup ruby on rails - ruby 1.8 and rails 2.1 on my Windows Vista PC
The result is a terribly slow setup
Any command from the command line like - gem install,
rake, etc takes ages to register with the machine and start execution
I am looking for what cacn be so awful with Vista and if anyone else is facing similar issues
